Wow, just finished watching two Chinese girls 薛晨 (Xue Chen) and 张希 (Zhang Xi) played against Nicole Branagh and Elaine Young from United States. They won 2:0 （21：17；21-13）to advanced to the semi final.
They are going to play another Chinese beach volleyball team, which means China will have at least a silver medal for beach volleyball. I am very impressed for their achievement because beach volleyball is relatively new. I still remember the discussion about building up beach volleyball teams many years ago when I was in China and worked with many high ranking volleyball coaches including current head women's volleyball coach, Chen Zhonghe.
I hope both US and Chinese volleyball teams (indoors or beach) will play well and achieve their dreams. Cheer for all.
